31 Reasons Never to Move to Another Country

Obviously it’s a terrible idea…

1. You’ll be forced to sample all sorts of new and exciting foods…

 

2. …and you’ll probably get fat as all the delicious food moves towards your mouth, like a moth to a flame.

 

3. Your phone/camera memory will be saturated with all the photos you take.

 

4. You’ll get hooked on award-winning foreign TV shows.

 

5. You’ll be infected by new rhythms.

6. You’ll be intoxicated by delicious new liquids and liquors.

 

7. You’ll be pulled off the beaten track…

 

8. …and pushed out to sea.

 

9. You’ll find your bank account emptied by new stores and fashions…

 

10. …and your days filled with new experiences.

 

11. Your old friends will invite themselves to visit you…

 

12. … as will your family.

 

13. You might learn a foreign language…

 

14. …or two.

 

15. You’ll discover and feel inclined to celebrate new holidays…

 

16. …and new festivals.

 

17. You might learn about a new religion.

 

18. You’ll probably expand your historical horizons.

 

19. You could learn about things you didn’t expect.

 

20. You’ll find yourself seduced by new loves…

 

21. …or maybe get in touch with your creative side.

 

22. History could be made…

 

23. …and you could be a part of it.

 

24. You might have the great misfortune of discovering new literature…

 

25. …or find yourself in a totally unexpected situation.

28. Heaven forbid, you might have fun.

All in all it’s a stupid idea and you just shouldn’t do it ever.
